Cara Johnson-Hirsch
Cara Johnson-Hirsch is a professional fastpitch instructor based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the founder of the ASA Team Indiana organization, and the training school SoftballOne, Inc. SoftballOne is committed to helping student-athletes maximize their on-diamond potential
Cara Johnson-Hirsch played for Western Illinois University, a Division One college program. Cara set 7 hitting records during her 3-year WIU playing career, and still holds the All-Time Single-Season Record for DOUBLES (19). She was drafted from college to play professional softball for the Tampa Bay Firestix. Cara went on to coach at the University of Chicago as both the assistant coach and the head coach. As head coach, her team held a 25-14-1 overall record, the 3rd highest winning percentage in the program’s history. Her team also made their first appearance to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament, held the Lowest Team ERA in the Region and the Highest Team Slugging Percentage and Batting Average in the Program’s History.
Wen Li-Hsiu
Coach Wen comes to SoftballOne after participating in the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games. In addition Coach Wen was a four-year starter for her university team where she graduated with a degree in Physical Education. Prior to her arrival in the United States she also served as an assistant coach at Taipei Physical Education College. A defensive genius, we are very fortunate to have Coach Wen lead our program.
